This backyard landscape had much work done in the renovation, but the stone work is the defining point of the style.
The backyard stone work was installed after the existing patio screen was removed and the existing pavers were re-configured for a deeper rear seating area to create a larger feeling area in appreciation of the great backyard waterview and golf course.
The stone used was a Black Chattahoochee stone with Tennessee Blue Grey 18″ square step stones that were all installed on an underlying bed of rice rock (to help with settling & also the drainage problems this property had.)
Other timeline photos in the project progression section of the website will show the transformation of this area.
The goal here a simple, clean look with a touch of a Zen feel. The homeowner we are glad to say felt we delivered on the goal she had wished to achieve.
Work included, removal of burm in what is now a flat back new patio and seating areas. Drainage work in back yard. Removal of rear patio screen. Lifting of existing pavers and re-configuring. New landscape plantings in new back beds as well as both sides of home (and a front yard renovation as well). New stone work installed throughout the back areas as you can see.
The transformation photos will show how drastically different this property looks today from the time it looked when the homeowner purchased it and was beginning the interior and exterior renovations.
We hope you like !
